CUPCAKE-DISABLED APRICOT STANDARD POODLE PUPPY GIRL-Sadly our vet said Cupcake Suffered a Stroke most likely due to her upper motor neuron disease and this beautiful little girl didn’t make it!\u00a0 We will have this sweet girl in our hearts forever!<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cupcake came to us as a disabled 4 month old standard poodle puppy girl born around July 2020 with paralyzed back legs.\u00a0 She was originally brought to a groomer with her paralyzed back legs at only about 2.5 years old because the former owner or breeder could not care for her.\u00a0 They did not answer any questions that the groomer asked them.\u00a0 The groomer took Cupcake in as she was scared she might be used for a bait dog and was hoping to work with Cupcake.\u00a0 She had Cupcake for about a month and had good intentions but the time to work with Cupcake never came so she called Georgia Poodle Rescue.\u00a0 Update:\u00a0 Several vets and doctors believe Cupcake has Upper Motor Neuron Disease.\u00a0 Our vet believes it is neurological and\u00a0 said it is not swimmer’s legs.\u00a0 He gave us exercises to work on Cupcake for 1-2 hours every day.\u00a0 We have ordered a used dog wheelchair to help Cupcake be more mobile and she loves it!\u00a0 We have made a sling to hold her up to go potty outside.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I just had my 3 year rabies vaccine on April 25, 2020, and am up to date on my vaccines and heartworm test. I may be a pyredoodle which is a standard poodle great pyrenees mix. I have straight fluffy hair and the shedding is minimal if any. I was adopted about 1.5 years ago and just recently came back. They had 3 large doodles which was too much as my needs weren’t being met especially exercising me so I began to bark at sounds to be heard. I am a big white teddy bear and I need someone who can handle giving me the attention I need and being strong enough to walk me and exercise me just like any large dog needs. Just letting me in the backyard does not exercise me properly. I smile, am well behaved, love other dogs and people and love playing with them. PARTY – Black Standard Poodle Boy!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Party is a black standard poodle boy with a small white spot on his chest.\u00a0 He came to us overgrown and when we groomed him we suspected sebaceous adenitis.\u00a0 His skin condition is not contagious.\u00a0 We have neutered him.\u00a0 He weighs about 53 lbs. He has had skin scrapes and has tested negative for mange and he has been on past antibiotics.\u00a0 One vet suspected allergies where he would get allergy shots.\u00a0 Another veterinarian dermatologist said to give him fish oil caps and probiotics and possibly primrose oil caps.\u00a0 This has been successful in growing a lot if his hair back but we are beginning to also bathe him and rubbing coconut oil into his skin and giving it internally as well as a vitamin minersl supplement.\u00a0 Party has a personality of gold.\u00a0 He knows sit, shake paw, stay, down, wait and can jump through hoola hoops!\u00a0 He gets along with our large dogs but takes too much interest in small dogs.\u00a0 He loves playing with people and dogs and loves car rides, too!\u00a0 We are looking for that wonderful person or family who will love and cherish him and fulfill his nutritional deficiencies.\u00a0 We have his AKC Litter Certificate, his AKC registration certificate, and his AKC 3 generation pedigree.\u00a0 There will be a special price for the right family.\u00a0 No crating!!!<\/p>\n

Their new clipper blade by Andis turned out to be dull right out of the package so they only got as far as clipping most of my face. They will need to drive over an hour away for new blades. I was very scared of the clippers at first and didn’t know what they were but now I think I like them because it makes me feel better with the mats off. Update: \u00a0Louise is available but Thelma was adopted. \u00a0Thelma and Louise are two black female labradoodle girls who just turned 4 years old. \u00a0Here they are shown relaxing outdoors after a romp in the hay! \u00a0THEY CAN BE ADOPTED SEPARATELY. \u00a0They were purchased from someone who couldn’t keep them because they were moving and to be service dogs for their new owner. \u00a0The dogs, however, were not socialized with other dogs nor with people, so they came to Georgia Poodle Rescue for us to train them and find them a good home. \u00a0Thelma and Louise have now been socialized by us with our dogs and get along fine with them. \u00a0They have very nice personalities. \u00a0We are vetting them and scheduling their spay appointments. \u00a0Thelma weighs about 45 lbs, is the dog on the left in the picture, and has the voluptuous long fur with large curls, and Louise weighs about 52 lbs and has a lab short fur on her head and beautiful ripply wavy fur on her body. \u00a0 They have done very well with their training! \u00a0No crates. \u00a0These girls love to romp and run at full speed.<\/h1>\n

Major Star is a beautiful cafe au lait young small miniature\/large toy poodle boy who was born 6\/15\/15. \u00a0We just had him neutered and updated his vaccines and he tested heartworm negative. \u00a0He was originally purchased out of a box of puppies someone was selling in a parking lot. \u00a0The person who purchased him, his second owner, had him for a few months then didn’t want to deal with a dog so she gave him to her sister, his third owner. \u00a0She also had him for a few months and no longer wanted a dog so she dumped him at her mother’s home. \u00a0The mother, who was the fourth owner had him for a few months where he stayed out on a deck during the day and brought in at night, could no longer keep him so she asked us to find him a good home…we are the fifth owner. \u00a0We added Star to his name because he is a real star. \u00a0He has a very nice personality, shy at first because he was so matted, he could hardly see. \u00a0When we groomed him, we had to shave him down and the mat came off in one big pelt. \u00a0He felt so relieved and was scared of the clippers at first but we spoke to him in a soothing voice and held him and he soon knew the clippers were his friend. \u00a0He looked so relieved getting all that matted hair off of him. \u00a0We are training him but he is available to be seen and possibly have the training continued by you with our tutelage.<\/h2>\n

Missy, a blue toy poodle girl, born April 2010, came to us together with her sister Meg, who was adopted. \u00a0Their former owner’s new grandson, who spends a lot of time at their home, was diagnosed with a rare disease and the poodles made his allergies flare up, which caused dangerous breathing problems. \u00a0Both poodle girls were well cared for and we are now looking for a good home for Missy. \u00a0Missy is a well behaved, friendly, and happy little girl who loves to cuddle with you. \u00a0She is quiet and potty trained and will make someone a very happy owner!<\/h2>\n

Ita came to us with her Irish name, and she is only 8 months old! \u00a0She is a darling 8-10 lb gorgeous charcoal gray\/silver toy poodle\/silkie or cairn terrier girl! \u00a0She has the coat and coloring of a small cairn terrier with semi-erect ears. \u00a0We spoke with her breeder , who, if correct, said Ita’s mother is an apricot toy poodle and her father is a black toy poodle. \u00a0All of Ita’s siblings came out with curly hair. \u00a0Ita was the runt of the litter and came out with silkie straight fluffy hair. \u00a0The breeder did not have a fenced yard and let the dogs out to potty so it is possible that another breed came onto their property. \u00a0Ita was given to the breeder’s neighbor, a man who, now is losing his home and who wanted us to find Ita a good home. \u00a0Our vet has spayed Ita, updated her on her vaccines, and she tested heartworm negative. \u00a0Ita is perfectly content sitting on your lap or near you, following you around or observing what you do, and being the cute little princess that she is. \u00a0She gets along with other dogs and is friendly with people! \u00a0We have taught her to walk on a leash and are working on her basic obedience commands but you can come meet her with an approved application! $300<\/p>\n
